Hooray and THANK YOU for another successful GEEKSOAP holiday season! From around Halloween to the second week of December I’m non-stop soap in every possible spare moment I have outside of my full time teaching job, and this year’s sales exceeded expectations – woohoo! Thank you!
Every year I close the shop around mid-December to finish up any outstanding orders before Christmas, AND so I can spend the holidays focusing on my family and friends after the non-stop whirlwind of the holiday order rush.
If you have an outstanding order that is being processed right now, don’t worry – this just means no further orders are able to be placed until January 3, 2018 when the shop re-opens. Current outstanding orders are still being processed and my goal is to get them all out by the end of the week, with the latest ship date being Monday, December 18. Don’t forget that orders placed after December 4 cannot be guaranteed for Christmas, however, I’m doing everything I can do get you orders out as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. Please remember that I’m a full time middle school teacher, (and mama to a 6 and 3 year old) and GEEKSOAP is my second job in the evenings and on weekends. I even get up early on school days to pour a few bars before I leave for work to help keep up!
This season, I am grateful. Grateful for all of my customers, family, and friends who have supported me for almost EIGHT YEARS of GEEKSOAP success, grateful for your patience and understanding during the busiest season of the year, and grateful for the kindness and cheer you spread when you include sweet notes on your order or send me a follow up email when your geektastic soap gifts arrive to share how much you love them. You make GEEKSOAP. You are the reason I continue to pour love and heart into every bar I make, even around the clock! My heart swells with gratitude for being able to continue doing what I love and having GEEKSOAP as my creative outlet, all because of YOU. Thank you!
Thanks again for yet another successful holiday season at GEEKSOAP. Wishing you and yours a magical, geektastic holiday and happy new year! See you on January 3, 2018.
love,
Lesley
